In the summer semester 2000 I offered a course on
Sobolevräume und Distributionen.

Prof. Dr. H. Kalf and I have organized an
International Workshop on Analysis of Differential Operators .

In the winter semester 2000/2001 I organized, together with
Prof. Dr. H. Kalf , Priv.-Doz. T. Kriecherbauer PhD, and Prof. Dr. H. Siedentop,
an Oberseminar on Analysis and Mathematical Physics.

In the summer semester 2001 I held a course on
Analytische Methoden für partielle Differentialgleichungen .

I organized, together with
Prof. Dr. H. Kalf , Priv.-Doz. T. Kriecherbauer PhD, and Prof. Dr. H. Siedentop,
an Oberseminar on Analysis and Mathematical Physics.

We also organized the 3rd Munich Workshop on Spectral Theory of Singular Differential Operators .

I held, together with
Prof. Dr. M. Brokate (TUM), Prof. Dr. S. A. Funken (LMU), Dr. I. Hansen (TUM),
and Priv.-Doz. Dr. B. A. Wagner (TUM) a Seminar über mathematische Modellierung.

In the winter semester 2001/02 I will offer, together with
Prof. Dr. M. Brokate (TUM), a Mathematisches Seminar über Inverse Probleme.

I will also co-organize, together with
Prof. Dr. H. Kalf , Priv.-Doz. T. Kriecherbauer PhD, and Prof. Dr. H. Siedentop,
an Oberseminar on Analysis and Mathematical Physics.

In the summer semester 2002 I held a course on
Numerical methods for partial differential equations .
I will also organize, together with
Prof. Dr. M. Brokate (TUM), and Dipl.-Math. H. Schnabel (TUM), a
Mathematisches Seminar über Sobolevräume und Distributionen.
Moreover, together with Prof. Dr. R. Denk and Prof. Dr. H. Siedentop,
our series Oberseminar on Analysis and Mathematical Physics was continued.

In the winter semester 2002/03 I co-organized, together with
Prof. Dr. H. Kalf and Prof. Dr. H. Siedentop,
an Oberseminar on Analysis and Mathematical Physics.

In the summer semester 2003 I offered a course on
Sobolevräume und Distributionen ,
as well as (together with M. Brokate, TUM) a
Mathematisches Seminar über Optimierung bei partiellen Differentialgleichungen .
The Oberseminar on Analysis and Mathematical Physics,
together with B. Helffer, H. Kalf and H. Siedentop, was continued.

In the winter semester 2003/04 I again co-organized, together with
Prof. Dr. H. Kalf and Prof. Dr. H. Siedentop,
an Oberseminar on Analysis .

In the summer semester 2004 I held a course on
Inverse Probleme .
The Oberseminar on Analysis ,
together with H. Kalf , H. Siedentop and S. Wugalter, was continued.

In the winter semester 2004/05 I co-organized, together with
H. Kalf and H. Siedentop and S. Wugalter
an Oberseminar on Analysis .

In the summer semester 2005 I offered a course on Fourier-Analysis .

In the summer semester 2006 I offered a course on Diskrete Mathematik .

This was followed in the winter semester 2006/7 by a Seminar on Der Turm von Hanoi
and was continued as an Oberseminar on Discrete Mathematics in the summer of 2007.

In the winter semester 2007/8 I offered a course on Graphen , which was followed
in the summer semester 2008 by a Seminar on Turm-Graphen , which in turn was continued as an
Oberseminar on Graphs in the winter of 2008/9 and in the summer of 2009 .

In the winter semester 2009/10 I offered a course on Diskrete Mathematik .

This was followed in the summer semester 2010 by a seminar on Graphen .

In the winter semester 2010/1 I organized an Oberseminar on Discrete Mathematics .

This was continued in the summer semester 2011 as Oberseminar on Discrete Mathematics .

In the winter semester 2011/2 I offered a Seminar on Der Turm von Hanoi .

This will be continued in the summer semester 2012 as Oberseminar on Discrete Mathematics .

In the summer semester 2012 I offered a Seminar on Fourier-Analysis .

In the winter semester 2012/3 I offered a Seminar on Variationsmethoden
and an Oberseminar on Discrete Mathematics and Analysis .

In the summer semester 2013 I offered a Seminar on Der Turm von Hanoi---Mythos und Wahrheit ,
an Oberseminar on Analysis and Discrete Mathematics
and a course on Mathematics for Engineers II at the Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften München

In the winter semester 2013/4 I offered a Seminar on Zwei Fraktale
and an Oberseminar on Discrete Mathematics and Analysis .

In the summer semester 2015 I offered a Seminar on The Reve's Puzzle Solved?
and an Oberseminar on Discrete Mathematics and Analysis .

In the winter semester 2015/6 I offered two Seminars on Gemischte Themen aus der Mathematik .
Unfortunately, I will not be able to offer another Oberseminar on Discrete Mathematics and Analysis
in the academic year 2015/6 because I have no resources to invite guests.

In the winter semester 2016/7 I will organize an Oberseminar on Discrete Mathematics
which will also serve as a seminar for advanced students.

Due to lacking support from the department, I will not be able to teach at the LMU in the future.
I am very sorry for that and thank the students for their continuing interest in my courses and seminars.

Moreover, I had to give up organizing Erasmus/Socrates exchange programs with the
universities of Aberystwyth and Cardiff (Wales, U.K.) and Maribor and Ljubljana(Slovenia),
as well as the Universidad Complutense in Madrid(Spain).

I will also give some special lectures from time to time.
