About MeI am a (tenure-track) professor at the department of mathematics at LMU. My research concerns the intersection of low-dimensional topology and geometric group theory. You can (usually) find me in office 318 at the department.
I obtained my PhD in 2011 at the University of Bonn under the supervision of Ursula Hamenstädt. After that, I was a Dickson Instructor at the University of Chicago, and an Assistant in Bonn, before coming to LMU. My detailed CV can be found here.
- In light of the worsening Corona situation, there are various (good) reasons why you as a student might prefer online teaching to in-person teaching. If you are a student in one of my classes or seminars, and you would prefer online teaching, you can send me an email any time -- it is not necessary to indicate any reasons. I will treat the request confidentially, and offer a hybrid or online solution.
- Information on the Geometry Oberseminar can be found here
