We have organized a conference bus from Munich for the afternoon of Sunday, November 17. It will leave at 4:30 p.m. from the bus terminal at the Ostbahnhof in Munich.
Here are the regular connections from Munich
to the Fraueninsel:
Take a train in direction Salzburg from
the central station Hauptbahnhof (Munich Hbf) or from the other station
Ostbahnhof (Munich Ost: this is more convenient if you come directly from
the airport). Get off the train in Prien am Chiemsee. The boats to the
Fraueninsel leave from Prien-Stock (Hafen).
You find below the timetable of the trains from Munich to Prien am Chiemsee as well as of the boats from
Prien-Stock to the Fraueninsel. Note that the timetable has changed in

If you come by car, you can also take a boat to the
Fraueninsel from Gstadt am Chiemsee. There the boats leave every hour from 8:50 till
18:50, and the trip to the Fraueninsel only takes 10 minutes.
