Transport properties of random quantum walks
Zusammenfassung: We consider the discrete unitary dynamics of a particle with spin in on the lattice defined by simple quantum walks. Such walks consist in the repeated action of a unitary spin matrix on the internal degree of freedom followed by a shift on the lattice conditioned on the spin state. We review recent results on the characteristic features of the transport properties they possess when the spin matrices are random in space and/or time.
