16. DoktorandInnentreffen der Stochastik

Virtual Conference

The DoktorandInnentreffen. This yearly conference is an event by and for PhD students in stochastics from the German-speaking area. Unlike in previous years, this year's meeting will be held virtually via the platform Gather (https://gather.town).

The conference offers the participants the opportunity to present their own research areas and PhD projects in a relaxed environment, as well as gaining exciting insights into the research areas of the other participants. Naturally, an important purpose of the meeting is to make new contacts with other PhD students in stochastics. To that end, in addition to the scientific lecture program, there will also be a joint virtual board game evening.

We emphasise that PhD students from stochastics with applications in biology, physics, computer science, financial mathematics as well as statistics are kindly invited to the conference.
