The group works on a wide variety of themes using methods of mathematical physics.
Our research focusses on questions arising from fundamental physics, in particular from Bohmian mechanics. This theory provides a consistent and
complete description of all quantum phenomena, without committing itself to vagueness and paradoxes. Extensions of Bohmian mechanics to the relativistic realm, as well as the construction of mathematically consistent relativistic theories, such as Wheeler-Feynman-Electromagnetism and the possibilities of
quantum theories of such type are also within our range of research interests. On the mathematical physics side our research is directed towards the effective description of many particle systems, classical and quantum, in particular derivations of mean field dynamics. more
