        As an intern, you will :
      • Contribute to investment analysis, reporting and decision proposals for the top management

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

Job Purpose/Role

AGCS Service Quality Assurance and IT-Vendor Management is responsible to improve contractual overview for IT service contracts, licenses, purchase orders and invoices and fulfils stakeholder co-odination as well as governance control on vendor related topics. In a drive to provide better information to all IT and projects we are restructuring our internal repositories.

Key Responsibilities

      • Clerical Assistance in building new contract repository
      • Extracting and manually entering META-DATA from contracts and budget into repository qualification fields
      • Assisting in MS-SharePoint automation and workflow design

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

      • Excellent English (oral and written) – native English speaker (preferred) or experience in English country
      • for 1 or 2 years
      • Excellent writing skills and ability to produce quality written and visual communications
      • Analytical and logical sequencing abilities for workflow design

Working student (m/f) in Risk Management in the Risk Controlling Team (RCSE)

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

The Risk Controlling SE (RCSE) team is responsible for the oversight of the legal entity Allianz SE, of its holding activities, and of the Allianz Holding & Treasury sub-segment. The Worksstudent position offers a chance to support regular quarterly risk closing and validation procedures, to develop a sound understanding of the Group's internal model dynamics and to get a wide overview of risk and finance topics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Support in the regular quarterly closing process for Allianz Holding (AZ SE) incl.:
        - Analysis of the Internal Model Credit Risk Capital and exposure movements
        - Analysis of Concentration and Credit Default Risk for the Solvency II Standard Model
        - Communication with business units and departments regarding Limit Reporting (e.g. Reinsurance Limits, Obligor Limits etc.)
      • Further development and maintenance of an integrated reporting tool for AZ SE used to feed data into ORSA Report, quarterly Closing Reports and Quarterly Reports for the Risk Committee, SFCR/RSR
      • Support for different Internal Model validation activities (PC risks, Market risks)
      • Support with respect to daily business tasks in the quantitative risk area (risk analysis, development of small analysis tools in excel)

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Qualification

      • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a related field of study (such as finance; financial mathematics; actuarial science; mathematics; statistics; econometrics; economics or similar)
      • Strong command of Excel and analysis tools Good English language skills; German is a plus
      • Previous of Solvency II is strongly preferred

Experience & Key Skills

      • Experience in the insurance and/or risk management industry is strongly preferred
      • Able to clearly communicate findings within the RCSE as well as with other departments in Group Risk
      • Attentive to details, thoroughness and able to grasp new concepts quickly
      • Demonstrated ability to work indecently on quantitative projects

Working Student in CFO Accounting (m/f)

Job Purpose/Role

The Global Insurance & Technical Closing team is responsible for the insurance related part of our closing and reporting activities. This would include, among others, the computation and posting of Unearned Premium Reserves, Deferred Commissions, and Unallocated Loss Adjustment Expenses, Claims Equalization Reserves (German GAAP), to name but a few items. As part of closing the books, we also perform reconciliation between the General Ledger SAP and technical feeder systems such as Global Genius.

Key Responsibilities

      • Reconcile and analyze data from interfaces of mid-office systems
      • Contribute to selected tasks of the monthly closing processes/day to day operations
      • Analyze Technical P&L and Balance Sheet figures/positions on various level of granularity
      • Contribute to accounts reconciliation of selected accounts
      • Prepare postings and Journal Entries on a periodic basis

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

      • Currently enrolled in University (ideally studying Finance, Business Administration, Economics or other quantitatively focused subjects with solid credentials)
      • Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities, pragmatic and result-orientated approach
      • Competent handling MS Office skills (specifically Excel, Access a plus)
