### Organization

A new exercise sheet will appear each Tuesday on this homepage.
Your solutions are due one week later on Tuesday, 08:14.
Please hand in your solutions in the designated box on the first floor near the library.
About one week later you'll find the corrected exercise sheets in another designated box on the first floor.
The correctors are adviced to watch out for copying. If copied homework is detected then the points for the corresponding parts are equally distributed among all students who handed in the same solutions. Of course, all students are encouraged to work and discuss together and to share ideas. However, each student should work out the details of the problems and the presentation of their solutions alone.

I corrected a typo in exercise 3b) (sheet 8) the constant gamma should
satisfy the inequality with an absolut value.
Full solutions to sheet 7 are now available.
I put the solutions to sheet 7. The problem 4 is missing for the
moment, I will report on it on monday. Have a nice weekend!
2.12.11 - Sheet 7 : The inequality in Ex. 2.a.ii is now for R
larger than 1.
24.11.11 - I changed a bit the notation in Problem 1 in sheet 6
(r to lambda). Now is less confusing.
