Geometry of Supersymmetric Yang-Mills Theory
Abstract:
In supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory relevant information about the
quantum
theory is contained in a holomorphic function, called prepotential.
This
prepotential is determined indirectly with the help of the
symplectic
geometry of a family of certain algebraic curves.
We discuss the origin of these algebraic curves from the field theory
point of view.
