Education and Academic qualifications
I graduated and obtained my MSc degree (and The Diploma with Excellency in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics) from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia, and received my PhD in July 2004 (viva in Oct 2003) from Heriot-Watt University, UK.

Research Awards and Fellowships
Before moving to Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet Muenchen I have spent over three years at the University of Edinburgh (UK), holding a personal EPSRC Postdoctoral Fellowship in Mathematical Sciences, and two years at the University of Cergy-Pontoise (France), holding an Individual Intra-European Marie Curie Fellowship for Experienced Researchers from the EU Commission.

Now I am a Junior Professor (roughly equivalent to an Assistant Professor) at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet Muenchen.
