Travel information
The mathematics institute, where the meeting will take place,
is located in the centre of Munich and its university quarter
in the very neighbourhood of the famous Pinakotheks and Glyptothek.

How to get to Munich
- via airoplane:
Munich airport. In order to gain information you may visit the
airport's

- via train:
In order to find your appropriate connexion to Munich, Central station, you
are advised to consult the travel service of the Deutsche Bahn AG (German
railway) by clicking

How to get to the department
- from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof)
Take the S-Bahn (any train) one stop in the direction of the
Ostbahnhof to Karlsplatz/Stachus. Ascend to the ground level
and take the streetcar (tram) Nr. 27 in the direction of
Petuelring (three stops) to the Pinakothek, at the intersection
of Barerstr. and Theresienstr. The Mathematics Department is in
the building right next to the tram stop.
- from the airport
Take either the S1 or the S8 (S-Bahn) to the city. Get off at
Karlsplatz/Stachus and take the streetcar Nr. 27 in the
direction of Petuelring. The third stop is the Pinakothek, at
the intersection of Barerstr. and Theresienstr. The Mathematics
Department is in the building right next to the tram stop.
