Since VIU cannot offer accommodation on the island of San Servolo, we have made special arrangements with Istituto della Pietà and Palazzo Zenobio.

Istituto Santa Maria della Pietà is located near to Church "della Pietà", also know as Chiesa di Vivaldi. It is very close to the boat stop of San Zaccaria (from which the "vaporetti" to San Servolo depart) and also close to Piazza San Marco. It offers mainly large multiple rooms, with shared bathrooms. It has a bar and a large central room for recreation (with TV). From the terrace near the bar one has a nice view of Venice. The Institute has been fully renewed in year 2000.

Palazzo Zenobio (Centro Studi Moorat Raphael) is an old Venetian Palace which until recently hosted the "Collegio degli Armeni". The walking distance from Palazzo Zenobio to San Zaccaria (from which the "vaporetti" to San Servolo depart) is of approximately 25 minutes. At the first 2 floors there are various ample and more elegant double rooms (mainly with external bathroom sometimes shared with a second room) and on the third floor (Foresteria) there are single and double rooms with shared bathrooms on the corridors. The reception closes at 12:00 p.m.

Duration:
We have booked the accommodation  from Sunday 11 (arrival) through
Saturday 17 May 2003 (departure), which is six (6) nights altogether.
If you prefer to extend your stay in Venice (e.g. to arrive one day earlier
and/or to leave one day later), we will try our best to arrange this for you.
In this case please insert the (extended) dates you wish in the registration
form. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee for anything in this respect, but
will inform you soon after 19 February whether we have succeed by then.
